How much does a Cathy's Express web site cost?
The initial set-up fee is $200, monthly hosting costs are $20 a month and are billed quarterly.
How will I get my orders?
When someone places an order on your site,
you'll be notified via e-mail that you have orders waiting for approval. You'll access your secure
transaction management system by clicking the link in your e-mail, access the billing information
the customer provided with their order, and process the payment. Then you'll approve the order with
the click of the mouse. Once you have approved the order, we'll import into our fulfillment system
and drop ship it for you directly to the customer.
How can I personalize my site?
When you complete your Personalization Package, you'll have options to specify
your site design choice, color choices, upload your logo, write specific copy about your store, and
more.
Do I need to know HTML to personalize my site?
Not at all! The system has been created to make it simple for you to specify
your personalization preferences and submit your copy to us. Once we know your preferences, we'll build
the site for you.
Can I add other manufacturers products to my site?
No, at this time, only Cathy's Concepts products will be available for
sale on your Cathy's Express web site.
What will my domain name be?
In most cases, your domain name will be your store name followed by the Cathy's
Express domain and will look like this: http://yourstore.cathysexpress.com
What kind of payment will be accepted?
You can have customers pay by credit card, PayPal, or even in your
physical store location if you choose to offer that service. Since you will be processing payments,
you can control the payment methods accepted.
What kind of security does Cathy's Express offer?
We use industry-standard SSL encryption to transmit credit card information
securely both on the way from the shopper to our computers, and again from our computers to you, the
merchant.
Do I need any special software to use Cathy's Express?
You already have everything you need: a computer with a web browser and an
internet connection.
Returns & Exchanges
Cathy's Concepts will accept returns on all non-personalized
items placed through a Cathy's Express Retailer for up to 30 days from shipment.
Personalized items are not eligible for returns. Undergarments will not be eligible for
returns. The consumer or the retailer will be responsible for any shipping costs to send the item
back to us. Cathy's Concepts will not absorb any shipping charges on return items.
The bride will be required to ship the
merchandise back to our location at 5723 Birtz Road Indianapolis, IN 46216. We will
process the return and send your store a notification of the return via fax confirmation
or via e-mail. Your store will then need to credit her charge card account
accordingly.
For damaged items, Cathy's Express will exchange personalized items with exact same item with the exact
same personalization. If applicable, personalized items will only be exchanged within 48 hours of
receipt of goods.
How should I go about promoting my Cathy's Express store?
We highly recommend that you see the section, "Promoting Your Cathy's Express
Store" for information and tips about expanding the reach of your store.
What if I receive an email but there are no orders in my Pending file?
You must approve or deny an order within seven business days or it will automatically
expire. If your email is more than 7 days old, chances are the order has expired.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship to all 50 states, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
Should I collect sales tax?
You should be taxing the customer according to the tax laws of your state.
